The Penthouse is an exclusive event space unlike any other in Rochester! Private, secure and easily accessible, our rooftop has a metropolitan and intimate vibe with a breathtaking view. We provide a premier location for weddings, celebrations, and corporate events.

How many people fit in The Penthouse?
We can accommodate up to 200 standing cocktail; 150 seated; 120 with a dance floor, and 200 theater-style. We can also support up to 15 booths for a trade show or vendor set up. 

How do I find out about your events?

Social media! To follow us, click on these links, like and share, and you’ll be in the know! Look for photos and videos of our fun times on Facebook and Instagram. You can also purchase tickets via Eventbrite.

Do you have a minimum number of people required?
No group is too small, but 50 fits just right without feeling too spacious.

What services do you provide?
Anything and everything you need to have a great time! Event design, catering, bar service, valet service, extra security, audio/visual, and great DJs.

How much does it cost?
Fees vary based on the day of the week; please contact us for specifics. Our rental includes the Event Space, all resident furniture, black linen, and basic staffing for the event. 

Can I bring in my own caterer?
We work with a group of trusted caterers who are familiar with our space and excellent at what they do. We do allow outside caterers with proof of valid NYS Health Certificate and Liability Insurance. Additional fees will apply. Can I bring my own alcohol?
The Penthouse carries an NYS Liquor License, so we can provide anything you need. No outside alcohol is allowed.

Do you have security on-site?
Yes, security is on-site for every event. They are posted on the lobby level of the building and will guide your guests as they arrive. 


The Penthouse is a great place to get your group out of the office and into a meeting room in the sky!

What meeting and audio/visual services are available?
We have different A/V packages to choose from that include everything you need: a podium, microphone and speakers,  screen, TV monitors, DVD/CD player, even pads and pens. Need something else? No problem, we can rent almost anything!

Do you have Wifi?

Yes, and it's free.

Do you have cable TV?
No, you can connect through Wifi.

How many people can I seat classroom style?

Can I set up in worktable or desk style?
Anything is possible--just ask.

Do you provide wedding planning services?
Of course! We can help create your vision or execute the ideas you already have.

Do I have to share the space?
Unlike many other wedding venues, The Penthouse becomes your private space. No one walking through, no bathroom to share, no other brides in the building. All events must end by midnight.

Do you host LGBTQ events?
We translate that to Love Grows Beyond Tradition: that means all are welcome, no matter whom you love. We provide a safe and intimate space to celebrate your love. 

Can I decorate any way I want to?
We have some limitations, for example, we can't hang anything over the edge of the building, but we can help you design the perfect wedding within our parameters.

Can I have my rehearsal dinner there?
Yes! We're a perfect location for a private dinner, and we're close to many downtown churches and hotels.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, we allow walk ins at all of our public events!

No, we sell only through Eventbrite and Tock.

What is a Silent Disco?

The Penthouse is the HOME of the Silent Disco! It's a great dance party with headphones. Three DJs, three channels of music, your own volume control: it's like going to the club where you create your own experience. Take off your headphones and have a chat or turn up your volume and rock out!


What other public events do you do? 

If there is something going on in Parcel 5, chances are we have an observation party to go with it. Look for us during Jazz Fest, Fringe Fest, Fourth of July, St. Patricks Parade Day... there is always something going on!
